South Africa

So it has been ages since I have done a blog and with so many cool adventures in the last month I thought I better share my experiences with you :D

18 April

So this was the start of one of the best experiences of my life and most definitely the best experience of my working life. It was day we me and best friend we're flying out to South Africa!! So the day began with the necessary waxing together as I am the biggest wimp when it comes to any form of pain being inflicted on me. We then had just enough time to cram our belongings into our suitcases and set off for London Heathrow my favourite airport as the shops are insane. When we arrived we bumped into more friends in forever who were equally as excited, we checked our bags in both embarrassingly over weight allowance but we had nice virgin staff that let them through with a heavy stick result! We then headed straight for the sunglasses and I has stuck with the hard decision of whether to go for the Black Guccis, Multicoloured Fendis or White Diors I knew this was going to be a hard decision as I love love love sunglasses more than any other accessory and it is a tradition to buy a new pair every time I fly to a new destination. So this was going to be something I will need to get back to. We then hit mac where a lovely girl was so helpful she listened to the look I wanted to go for but was struggling to do it myself so she showed me gave me a whole makeover. This meant I needed in my head everything she used on me although she insisted I didn't need it all. So I purchased:
  •  New brushes
  • 2 Lipsticks Matte Honeylove and Matte Kinda Sexy
  • Prep +Primer Highlighter Light Boost
  • Lip Pencil Spice
  • Blot Powder Medium Dark

So we then got some lunch ordered far more than we needed but we were on holiday in our eyes so dug in deep. We could see a few eyes wondering our direction as some of our food had to go on another table because it wouldn't all fit haha. Our eyes were too big for our belly. We then thought we can not walk passed Zara without having a cheeky look around. I picked up some amazing bits.

  • Red Long Cigar Shorts
  • Flower Scarf
  • Beautiful embroidered skirt
  • Denim off the shoulder dress
  • Tweed Dress
We then looked round the designer shops dreaming that one day every soon we'll be hitting these shops every trip going crazy but for now we were going to settle for a bottle or champagne at the Caviar bar and eat sashimi my favourite to celebrate our businesses success in the last year and how far we have come. With 10 minutes before we had to go to the gate we were really excited about what we were about to experience over the next week; it suddenly dawned on me that I forgot my sunglasses so I ran to the shop left Daisy finishing her champagne and was stuck with the hard decision I decided on the beautiful white Diors. After running back to Daisy we looked at the monitor to see our gate marked Closing. Panicked we ran as fast as we could with all our shopping bags laughing that we didn't look so glamorous now. We made it! A bit tipsy  fro a mixture of running after a bottle champagne. We sat down stuck on our headphones and sang for 7 hours on the plane the man next to us must've loved us! 2 hours of watching the Good Dinosaur which made me cry and Daisy laugh. Finally we were here Johannesburg!!!

19 April
We got off the plane met our friends went thought passport control and a lady stopped me asking me where our yellow suitcases were from and how can she join my business. What a way to start my journey, she said that there are forever signs everywhere and the city is excited to see what forever living is all about it then suddenly dawned on us how big global rally was going to be! We were greated by lots of south africans with forever signs and sent us on a coach with other business owners we had brazilian, French and Japanese business owners on our coach super super excited that we were all here for the same reason. Arrived at our hotel Sandton City Johannesburg which was simply beautiful it was huge they had even put aloe vera plants in the room :) We dumped our suitcases and headed straight for the pool where we found all our friends from round the country so amazing seeing them all as it had been months since I'd seen them after lots of cuddles it was time to jump on the sun lounges and order a cocktail. Relaxing in the sun with my friends just made me realise how lucky we really our business had given us a all expenses week in paradise and all for you hard work. We decided to go out for a yummy meal the first night and have and early night as we had a 5am start to do my life long dream go on safari!

20 April
Up bright and early we quickly got into our khaki green clothes and headed downstairs to jump on the coaches it took 2 and half hours to get the the Pilanesberg National Park the sun was shining when we arrived and the safari trucks were ready to take us. When arrived business owners from all over the world had also arrived it was fantastic to see how people from different parts of the world dress. We were one of the last trucks to drive into the safari we were so lucky as we saw rhinos, a heard of elephants with their babies, Zebras, Giraffes and Warthogs (pumbas). I couldn't believe how close they all were to us and when we arrived to the watering whole animals were everywhere!! This  was an experience that I will remember for the rest of my life and feel so blessed to be able to see the rhinos that are becoming closer to extinction.

After a long day at safari. We received a message to say that we had been invited for drinks and dinner with a very successful business owner which meant this was a night to dress to impress. I wore a white jumpsuit from Asos a lace bra let from Miss Guided and my pointy black Louboutins. I managed to wear them for the best part of 10 minutes but where my feet were so swollen from the flight I had to change to some white wedges from Matalan. We all met up at the lobby and walked through are shopping mall which is huge to think its connected to the hotel and has Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Prada a shopoholics dream. We made our way to the end of the mall where it meats Mandela square so many beautiful restaurants we had reservations for Wangthai. We decided to opt for the set menu which was 10 course experience washed down with a beautiful red wine. I literally could burst after all this food but was so worth it.

21 April
So today was the first day we had to do work if you could call it that. We had a training in the morning which was so inspiring to hear the top business owners share their knowledge. We then Packed food for the foundation stop the hunger now which was very emotional. On our table we had people from China, Sweden, Denmark and Turkey. I loved the fact that we could speak the same language but we were all working together to make sure that other people have their human right to eat. It breaks my heart that not everyone is born to the same opportunities and that anyone has to suffer in this day of age is so sad. Forever living really does give us the chance to really give back to the world and be thankful for what we have. I really thank my company for being able to do this.

After we had a bite to eat at the hotel and had jut 1 hour to get ready for our glitz ball celebrating this years global bonus. Black tie is my favourite as you don't get to dress up like a film star often. I wore a black floor length dress from Asos, Stella Mccartney bag and Black Louboutins. After having our photographs taken we made our way to the main room. Beautiful Canapés were laid out for us to tuck into. I grabbed a glass of wine and had a wonder around I just loved seeing people take on the word glitz. Some ladies dresses were simply stunning also the traditional Japanese robes were out of this world. It was now the time to see the first lots of cheques be presented. My team eagerly watching the count down clock. When it got to 0 the room was electric everywhere you looked people were screaming, hugging and crying with happiness all their hard work over the passed year has amounted to this moment. The amount of cheques opened was incredible.  To think we receive a percentage of the company profits just shows how generous our chairman Rex is. We danced the night away to the live band and had such a fantastic even heading back to our hotel shoes off singing all the way home.

22 April
This is day we have all been waiting for the start of global rally!!! I have been looking forward to this day for so long not knowing what to expect just knowing this will be a day to remember. We arrived at the dome which is huge. As we got out of the coach we could see the sheer volume of people making their way to the entrance everyone in their traditional clothes or country colours. I could see the flags being held with pride. Team Great Britain did not fail to disappoint we were approached by so many business owners from around the world for photographs I genuinely felt like someone famous. If this didn't make me patriotic I don't know what would. The noise of the crowd started getting louder and louder as we approached the entrance my heart was beating fast and we all decided to hold hands making our way into the arena. We had arrived. Twenty thousand people under one roof chanting, signing and whistling the room was simply thundering, you could feel the roar of the crowd in your chest as we walked are way through the crowd to find our seats. The room went deadly silent the lights went out and one light shined on the stage which was in the middle of the dome very much life a huge boxing ring. A woman stood there with a microphone in her hand with her head down we all asked each other what was going on? She then opened her mouth and let out the most beautiful note the whole room still silent in ore. This was the opening note to the Lion King. As more performers joined her on stage I realised we were witness the cast of the Lion king performing "circle of life" I had tears in my eyes this was so moving the whole room was singing along and looking around me seeing all the people smiling as one I could not believe how lucky I was to witness this moment. It was time for the first day of big cheques and they didn't disappoint from 20,000 to 100,000. I could believe how many people achieved this position. All that was running through my head was this will be me next year I am going to be on that stage and I will be here wherever it is in the world. They announced where we were going to next year and the joy was astronomical Dubai!!! Ive always wanted to go but have never had the chance and now the deal is sealed I will make sure I will be there for sure. At 5pm it was time to go home it was so nice to speak to many people from around the world as we were the number one spot last year everyone wanted to talk with Great Britain business owners and find out what has made us so successful. It was a honour to share my experiences and knowledge with others such great feeling to know that you are helping someone to achieve their goals. We ended Friday with a lovely indian opposite our hotel and stayed in the lobby with a few glasses of wine reflecting back on the time we've spent so far.

23 April
Saturday was the last day of the rally so we got up early had a huge yummy breakfast and jumped on the coach. This was the day the biggest cheques would be coming out. Everyone was super excited and ran to our seats ready for it to start and the opening was just as amazing as the day before as Freshly ground performed the world cup song waka which featured Shakira. They announced as well where our retreat next September will be and its a cruise around Barcelona, Monte Carlo and Rome Wow!!!! This has made me even more determined to smash my business and do my Rose from titanic moment! The cheques were ore inspiring the last three, two of which were English reached over the million mark imagine having a bonus of a million crazy!!! We also got to see our uplinks pick up their big cheques 150,000 crazy!! As a thank you for our hard work we were treated by them to a beautiful greek meal the prawns were bigger than my hands the food was stunning and would love to pick the restaurant up and take it home with me. We all had a celebration drink and got emotional that for some this was the last day of the trip.

24 April
Sunday was so emotional we had booked an extra night at a forever resort and to go to the the lion park, visit Soweto and take a look around the neighbouring areas. We had to say our goodbyes jumped in our tour guided mini bus and made our way to Soweto we saw the local people receive all of the clothes, toys and blankets the look on the children faces when they were giving a football is just priceless and the little girls blowing us kisses just melts my heart. They really have nothing but are so appreciative of life which is so humbling to see. We also went to visit Nelson Mandela's house before making our room back to the hotel. We enjoyed our last dinner together at the forever resort reflecting on how amazing our first global rally has been we decided to have an early night as tomorrow was our last day and we had to be up at 7am

25 April
So we woke up and hand breakfast outside was a beautiful sunny day we jumped into the coach and headed to our first stop the diamond mine. It was huge!! The guide said it was the 4th biggest in the world and holds the record of discovering the worlds largest diamond which was 365 carats!! It was worth so much money that nobody on the planet had enough to purchase it so it was given to Queen Victoria which is still on the crown jewels. Its the only working mine that you can walk around and met some of the miners who were so nice. We then had lunch and then to the lion park, took 3 hours to get there to fit out that it was closed on a Monday not impressed!! We saw a few of the injured lions that are being rehabilitated which have been rescued from zoos around the world. The man explained that if they released them into the world then the other lions would kill them which was really sad. After all that it was time to head to the airport and come home. I learned so much from so many people I honestly couldn't of asked for a better trip and it has got me so so excited. Bring on 2017!!!

Holiday Prep

So today started off a beautiful spring day the blossom was blowing on the trees and to top it off its Friday !! After a busy day in the office the heavens decided to open which only made more excited that in just 3 days I'm jetting off to South Africa :D  Getting a visit from my best friend at lunch discussing what we we're going to pack between us only made me realise I have not really given much thought as to what beauty products I would be taking with me, so I thought I better get cracking!

Skin

To start of with it is so important to protect yourself from the sun as to me keeping healthy skin is a must!! I find that the Forever Living Sunscreen smells amazing and is not sticky or oily like others on the market. I use the Thicker cream on my skin and the spray on my face. I also can't go without my Forever Living Aloe Gelly as this soothes you skin after a day out in the sunshine. A top tip is to put the gelly in the fridge if you have one in your room and feels even better. I also use this to take my makeup off as my nose always goes pink so stops it getting dry.

Make Up

I don't wear a lot of make up on holiday and to be honest with you in the week unless I'm going out somewhere really nice I wear minimal make up. However there are a few bits that I can't live without special with a gorgeous holiday glow.

1. Forever Living Flawless by Sonya Precision Liquid Eyeliner I love my 50's flicks and I have used so many different variations from brushes to pens but this tip is so pointed that you can get your perfect flicks with just one attempt.

2. Mac Haute & Naughty Lash Mascara what woman can live without mascara? This one has two wipers which means you can have defined or lashes with a lot of va va room. I love lashes with a bit of volume so this is just perfect for me.

3. Mac Prep+Prime is my magic weapon this product is great for contouring hiding all those late nights on holiday but also brings out your eyes against your tanned face. Under the brow for a more defined finish and along the nose to cover any pinkness. A top tip is to look at your veins in your arm to pick the right colour for your skin tone. If you have blue veins when clenching your fist then you need the pink or if your veins are green then the yellow.

4.Forever Living Flawless by Sonya Delicious Lipstick there are so many to choose from and I have to admit I have gone a bit crazy on the colours. With a vanilla taste these lipsticks are infused with aloe so help condition the lips, so no dry cracks whilst being in the sunshine. For holiday Guava 407 is pink but not to barbie for when you first arrive and as the tan depends switch to Watermelon 406 for a more rich colour.

5. Forever Living Sun Lips finally it is important to protect your lips from the  sun so this lip balm is great for cooling as this is also aloe infused its 80 minutes water resistant SPF 30 so helps prevent sunburn I never leave the hotel room without it.

Snap Chat has such cute features today which means I can still look reasonably cute with out makeup loving this flower power one!

Holiday countdown 4 days to go!

Happy Jumper Day :D

Bikini Body update
is day 6 of my clean 9 experience and I've got to admit I'm loving these results so far. The meals I've been cooking have looked so much more appealing then takeaways and my clothes are feeling looser which is always a bonus. I have finally got my top tummy muscles back but need to work a lot harder to get my bottom ones back. Looking at nice colourful food has made me realise that before I was just making excuses although I still have no kitchen I still have a old gas oven which worked perfectly well. Ive enjoyed the house smelling of good food and people have even mentioned on social media that they are copying my recipes :D

Wardrobe Situation
I did a last minute order on Asos, Missguided Riverisland and Matalan thank god for next day delivery and it has just been sprung on me that we have a ball to attend when we got to South Africa!!! This would normally take weeks, no months to plan as I am only 5 ft tall I have to get like 2 foot normally chopped on the bottom but someone must be looking out for me as asos had a sale and ball gowns in petite for just £20-30 each so I bought all 4 and taking all 4 will decide on the night! I had also just find out that when I go on safari I have to wear all camouflage colours which straight made me sing survivor by destiny's child and picture myself running with a bandana military boots and a rolled up top. In reality I found some lovely Khaki shorts white vest and a khaki shirt dress as you can probably already tell from this blog I am a very indecisive individual choice is better than no choice and there is nothing worse than being on holiday with only one outfit a day and you realise you either don't fit in it, its too hot or cold or you just don't like it anymore. Packing has begun and this has to be done with military precision! Will keep you updated as this literally takes me days to do..

Beauty Update
Although I've been pretty busy organising the team before I leave I am proud to say that I have finally sorted out a beautician Amy to make me look fabulous the magic will happen this Saturday. :D

So Fiercefoxes are smashing it this week I have set a task of truth or dare and the dare for my victim today Leanne was to go out to a park and make friends with 3 new people getting names and become Facebook friends she did this with flying colours! Harriet my beautiful friend and fellow business owner dropped by to say hello and to give a quick pep talk about her newest recruit Chloe. She is so so sweet and dropped me round a little gift of a gorgeous card and Berry Triffle Yankee Candle smells amazing!! So amazing after eating clean for almost a week I literally feel like I could eat this candle!

So today I have learned that being helpful and kind will always be the best way to mentor someone. Eating clean is not hard when you have a why connected to it. And making excuses is a life choice not reality if you want something hard enough you will do anything to make sure it happens...

Saturday, 9 April 2016

So yesterday the 8th April began the countdown to the holiday of a life time. The destination I have been dreaming of ever since watching Lion King when I was 5 years old. I am going on safari which means 3 things:

  1. Bikini body I need it back fast!!!
  2.  I need to buy a whole new wardrobe because although I have mountains of clothes you can never find anything to wear on holiday!!!
  3. I need to call every beautician I know to make me feel beautify myself which take an awful lot wax, nails, hair, brows and lashes I am an essex girl after all!

Anyway so the first thing to tackle is the bikini bod after living off takeaways for the best part of 3 months with no kitchen. I need to do a cleanse pronto! As I don't have long a clean 9 is perfect for me. Basically it's a 9 day body cleanse which rids the body of built up toxins and makes you feel great. I've done one before and had such amazing results that I was ready to get this started and not feel like such a slob!!!

So day one consisted of taking lots of aloe gel, water supplements a yummy chocolate shake and fruit and veg. I'm surprised how easy I'm finding it as I met up with my girlfriends from school for a drink and watched them stuff their faces with chips, chicken strips and cocktails!! I had a lemon water with fibre  mmmmm..... it was fine though had a reasonably early night and cuddled Bambi.

So today has been pretty good first morning in so long I actually had a lay in maybe its because I found my Victoria Secret blindfold don't worry this isn't kinky this literally is the only one that I could find that would fit my pea head and having blinds that are white I normally wake up as soon as the sun rises!! Anyway I'm rambling on.. so I woke up took a lovely bath washed my hair walked Bambi, bought some more healthy treats and started catching up with my besties! Put some orders through and arranged to have a sleepover wahoo!!! Pjs no make, sharing with them my exciting news about sharing this blog oh yeah and swapping cupcakes for strawberry and blueberry water.

Now we are watching The Other Woman saying how psycho we would go on our man if he ever thought this was acceptable. I would for sure put hair removal cream in shampoo, brush his tooth brush with the toilet and of course laxatives in his water...  Now they have just ordered Pizza hut, I did call them besties didn't I but not at this moment of time as I have a stir fried veg which would be satisfying if the smell of their garlic bread, vegetarian and wedges aaaannnnidddd garlic dip my favourite :(

So what I've learned today is that I have more willpower than I actually thought  I had. I love my friends a little less eating this is front of me but I do love spending a Saturday night in with them. 7 days until South Africa wahoo!!!! lets do this!!! Oh and its taken me 20 years to find out that lion king is East Africa not South but still it's safari and I'm going to meet my own Simba...

To do your own cleanse click on the link below you have the choice of vanilla and chocolate lets see your will power :)

Hi Everyone :D

So I want to start off by saying I am so nervous about starting something new but I feel as my life has changed so much in the last 18 months its now time to push myself outside of my nice snug comfort zone.  I work as a busy lettings manager in my home town of Essex in England but found my true passion just a year ago I wanted to share with the world my journey to prove that you can do anything if you set your mind to it...

October 2014 my boyfriend of 9 years and I had purchased out first home it needed so much work but was a perfect project for us both to get into. Nothing in the house was salvageable even the plumbing and electrics! We really didn't know what we had got ourselves into. At the same my best friend Daisy had just started a new journey also but this was a change of career, she decided she was going to sack the boss and follow her dreams (I thought she was crazy). She asked me to be apart of her new business venture but at the time I was far too busy with working full time and every spare moment I had I was travelling to our house to try and make some progress. I knew what she doing was not for me . As we started to work our way through knocking walls down and building new ones I realised money was running out little did I know my best friends income had almost doubled from her previous job! As the months went on Daisy kept asking me to join her but still I politely declined her offer still stressing I have no time if only I knew what I know now...

February 2015 I decided what have I got to loose even if I give it a go and fail at least I tried. Well this decision to become a network marketer will go on to the best decision on my life so far. I built up  an amazing business with an fabulous team (Fierce Foxes). This has given me the opportunity to help others and do things I never thought would be possible! Seeing single mums buying new cars and new mums not going back after maternity. Seeing customers go through life changing transformations and insecurities disappear. As my team grew so did my confidence Fierce Foxes was on the map and just 4 months I had hit 4 promotions and had hit the top of the marketing plan standing on stage in front of 5000 people at the London Excel being rewarded for my hard work was simply mind blowing and the best thing is that my best friend was there by my side.

I had all of the sudden made the same amount of money working part time as a network marketer as I was working full time as a letting manager!! I suddenly had team members in other countries and hosting webinars to hundreds of people sharing my tips on how to be successful in the industry, people were actually tuning in interested in what I had to say?? To say I am honoured is an understatement! I now host business presentations and training days for business owners in Essex sharing my knowledge and this is still around my busy life! I never realised saying one word to one question could change my whole outlook on life the world literally is your oyster and settling for a life you live should no longer be an option set you sights on bigger goals and prepare yourself to smash them.

I managed to squeeze in a truly unforgettable holiday to Mexico too in November 2015 working on the house was getting a little exhausting so tapas, tans and tequila went down a treat :D Met some friends for life and one even joined the Fierce foxes if you haven't been you need to the people and cute little animals are amazing!! Coco bongos is mental was great to show Alex Chichen Itza mayan ruins. Of course sun, sea and sangria for 14 days makes you forget about the painting, plastering and plumbing we had to do back home.

So now we are nearly up to date with whats happened for me in the last year we enjoyed spending our first Christmas waking up in our house however, still not ready for decorations we had a bed and a TV in one room, living off takeaways as we had no kitchen and washing up in the only room in the house which was finished the bathroom. Mind you washing up in a beautiful freestanding bath you saved for a month to buy wasn't ideal but so happy we have one finished room Oh yeah and finally I was able to bring my little fox Bambi to her new home as you can guess she was the inspiration behind my business name!!

So now this takes us up to the new year January 2016! Alex my boyfriend turned 30!!! omg!!! We celebrated in London having afternoon tea, going shopping for goodies in Harrods and Gauchos for dinner then a nice stay at the Reuben's opposite Buckingham Palace. In the morning we had a beautiful breakfast then hit Borough market followed by sushi and more shopping at convent garden. Still can believe he is 30 !!!!

February was an amazing month for me as I found at the I was going to be travelling on an all expenses trip to South Africa with my best friend. Our business is paying for us to be first class with virgin loaded credit cards and get to go on safari my life long dream and visit an orphanage bringing clothes to the less fortunate. To think I started my business at the end of the month last year and how far both me and my best friend have come I genuinely am so grateful to have been shown the opportunity and can think of anyone else in the world I'd rather be on this adventure with. My sister from another mister and main partner in crime.

March was my birthday month so got treated to an amazing dinner at Hayward's. Went to the Dining rooms with some of my girlfriends followed by hitting the shops got the most beautiful Givenchy handbag, Burberry scarf and Versace bikini for South Africa of course ;) I honestly feel like I've died and gone to heaven looking round the shops.

And this finally brings me to the new exciting chapter of my life April 2016 the month I started my first blog...  I hope you've enjoyed reading about my year I am sorry if I have gone on a bit as I'm not sure how much to write all I know is I could write so much more but don't want to frighten you away. I have found this so therapeutic typing away watching the sky change for sunny to raining to finally the sun setting and the night sky and moon have now appeared. My next post will be me getting ready for my adventure to South Africa 10 days and counting!! I have so much to do such hard work being a girl!!

My life has changed so much in a year and can't wait to see what this year brings. Thursday 7th April 2016 is the day the Fierce Foxes Blog has arrived and I'm excited to let you see the birth of something amazing.
